You will also visit the most famous floating market in Thailand, Damnoen Saduak, which consists of a labyrinth of narrow canals full of traditional boats where the products that you will visit aboard a traditional boat are sold. You will enjoy 3 free days on Koh Yao Yai Island located in the centre of Phang Nga Bay between Krabi and Phuket that is an idyllic destination for a honeymoon or romantic vacation. It has several beaches overlooking the Andaman Sea, including one of the most stunning beaches in whole Thailand - Laem Haad Beach. This is a long unspoiled beach (almost one kilometre) with fine powdery white sand backlined by coconut palm trees. Its northern tip stretches out into the sea forming an incredibly beautiful sandbar that, at high tide, borders on perfection. Itinerary


Upon your arrival in Bangkok, your driver will be waiting for you at Bangkok International Airport (Suvarnabhumi) to transfer you to the hotel. At the hotel, you will be given a brief introduction of your trip and any last-minute doubts will be clarified.

You will start the day with a guided excursion in Bangkok by using the local transports (SkyTrain, Chao Praya Express, Tuktuks). During the excursion you will discover the Grand Palace (former residence of the kings and home of the Emerald Buddha), Wat Pho (the temple of the largest Reclining Buddha in Thailand at 46 metres in length and 15 metres in height), Wat Suthat (a peaceful heaven inside the chaotic Bangkok), Wat Saket (a Buddhist temple dating back to the Ayutthaya era) and Phu Khao Thong (“Golden Mountain”, which is a steep artificial hill inside the Wat Saket compound from where you can see the old town).

The day will begin with a visit to Erawan National Park, a protected area found in Kanchanaburi Province and a natural gem with some of the best-known waterfalls in the country. The park has an area of approx. 550 square kilometres and was created in 1975. The park’s main attraction is the Erawan Falls, named after the three-headed white elephant from Hindu mythology. The seven-tiered falls are said to resemble the elephant. You can bathe in the pools of crystal clear water.

In the afternoon, you will have lunch at a local restaurant.

You will start the day by learning about WWII while visiting the Bridge over the River Kwai, which is a railway bridge spanning the Kwai Yai in Kanchanaburi that was crossed by the Thailand-Burma Railway. The metal bridge was built during World War II by forced laborers under the orders of the Imperial Japanese Army and is famous for the novel by Pierre Boulle and the film based on it. In 1945 the metal bridge was bombed and two central arches were destroyed which at the end of the conflict were restored by the Japanese as war damage. You will have a unique experience during the train tour on the bridge.

You will also visit the JEATH War Museum about the Thailand-Burma Railway built between 1942 and 1943 by Allied POWs under the direction of the Japanese. The acronym JEATH stands for the main nationalities involved in the construction of the railway: Japanese, English, Australian, American, more Thai and people of Holland.

Next, you will discover the most famous floating market in Thailand, Damnoen Saduak. The market consists of a labyrinth of narrow canals full of traditional boats where the products that you will visit aboard a traditional boat are sold.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport to take the flight to your next destination, Chiang Mai.

On this day you will visit the best-known places in Chiang Mai, known as “The Rose of the North”, starting with the Monument of the Three Kings and the Chiang Mai City Art and Cultural Centre, and continuing with temples of Wat Phra Sing and Wat Chedi Luang, where you can be in contact with Buddhist monks.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, you will visit the Warorot Market, the heart of Chinatown and one of the busiest markets.

After breakfast at the hotel, at 8:00 a.m. you will be picked up to start a new adventure. First, you will visit a local market. You will continue by road to the north, making a stop at Mok Fah Waterfall, where you can take a dip. Mok Fah Waterfall is one of the most beautiful attractions in Doi Suthep - Pui National Park. It is a single level waterfall, which is over 60 metres high and is a great place to swim and cool off. The crystal clear water at its base is ideal for a refreshing swim on a hot day.

In the afternoon, you will arrive at Karen village where you will have lunch with the villagers. After lunch, you will start trekking through the jungle to Baan Pa Kao Lam village.

You will end the day with dinner and entertainment around a bonfire.

In the morning, you will enjoy trekking for about 4 hours through the jungle under the shade of large green trees.

In the afternoon, you will have lunch in the Baan Pa Kao Lam village, where local people will teach you how to cook the typical food of the village and the customs of its inhabitants.

Later, you will have the opportunity to feed the elephants and enjoy a bath with them at Baan Chang Elephant Park. This is a unique small Thai family-run ecological park that is dedicated to offering the elephants the best possible quality of life without tolerating practices such as elephant dancing, circus tricks and riding activities.

In the morning, you will enjoy a morning trekking and rafting on the traditional bamboo raft through the Taeng River to Shan village, where you will meet the Lahu tribe.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy lunch and return to the hotel in Chiang Mai.

Today you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight to Phuket. Upon landing, you will be taken to the pier from where you will take the boat that will bring you to your next destination, Koh Yao Yai.

The rest of the day is free to start exploring what this beach destination has to offer.

This amazing island located in the centre of Phang Nga Bay between Krabi and Phuket is an idyllic destination for a honeymoon or romantic vacation. It has several beaches overlooking the Andaman Sea and is the ideal place for relaxation.

Compared to Phuket, which has a busy holiday scene, Koh Yao Yai is a quiet destination where you can relax in comfort at the beach or enjoy diving, snorkelling, kayaking or sightseeing boat trips to other nearby islands.
