Itinerary
Upon your arrival in Bangkok, your driver will be waiting for you at Bangkok International Airport (Suvarnabhumi) to transfer you to the hotel. At the hotel, you will be given a brief introduction of your trip and any last-minute doubts will be clarified.

You will start the day with a guided tour of Bangkok city by using the local transports (SkyTrain, Chao Praya Express, Tuk-tuks). During the excursion you will discover the Grand Palace (former residence of the kings and home of the Emerald Buddha), Wat Pho (the temple of the largest Reclining Buddha in Thailand at 46 metres in length and 15 metres in height), Wat Suthat (a peaceful heaven inside the chaotic Bangkok), Wat Saket (a Buddhist temple dating back to the Ayutthaya era) and Phu Khao Thong (“Golden Mountain”, which is a steep artificial hill inside the Wat Saket compound from where you can see the old town).

At the appointed time, you will be transferred to the airport to take the flight to Had Yai.
You will be picked up at the airport and transferred to the pier to take the speedboat to the amazing island of Koh Lipe.

Koh Lipe, also called the paper island, is a small island in the Southern part of the Thai Andaman Sea, 60 km from the Thai mainland. In a little over an hour, you can walk around the island. Shaped like a crescent moon, the island is famous for its white sandy beaches, which are perfect for relaxing and snorkelling, crystal clear waters and abundant marine life.
If you dedicate the day to snorkelling or diving, underwater you will encounter beautiful biodiversity with a sampling of about 25% of the world’s tropical fish species. Out to sea, while sailing by boat, you can sometimes see such marine animals as Minke whales and cachalots, as well as many dolphins.
Koh Lipe is an idyllic and very romantic place and you will certainly enjoy your first free day on the island.
