During the 7-day Spain Tour from Madrid to Barcelona you will discover an important part of the peninsular Spain visiting cities such as Cáceres, Seville, Cordoba, Ronda and Granada in central and southern Spain, as well as Valencia on the Mediterranean coast of the country. You will enjoy a guided tour in Seville, Cordoba and Granada offered by local guides during which you will discover many important attractions of these cities. A multilingual tour escort will accompany you during the entire itinerary. This will be an unforgettable experience, full of discoveries of incredible places and sites declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Itinerary
In the morning, you will travel from Madrid to Cáceres where you will have free time to discover its Plaza Mayor and walk through the Old Town of Cáceres and its famous medieval quarter, very well preserved and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy lunch on your own.
You will continue your trip to Andalusia and arrive in Seville.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will enjoy a morning guided tour of Seville, visiting the typical Barrio de Santa Cruz with its narrow streets, the Park of Maria Luisa and Plaza de España (Spanish Square) with a panoramic sightseeing of the city. You will see Seville Cathedral known as Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See, and its bell tower, called the Giralda and the typical neighbourhood of Santa Cruz with its streets, squares and narrow alleys. The Giralda was built during the reign of the Almohad dynasty with a Renaissance-style belfry added by the Catholics and was registered as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987.
If you wish, you can optionally navigate the Guadalquivir river and enjoy a panoramic view of the Golden Tower (Torre del Oro) that received its name because it was originally covered in golden tiles.
In the evening, you can also enjoy an optional activity, such more as attending a flamenco show.
Dinner and accommodation in Seville.
In the morning, you will depart from Seville to Cordoba. On arrival in the city, you will enjoy a guided tour visiting the famous Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and the Jewish Quarter. The Mosque-Cathedral is the most important monument of all the Islamic West and one of the most wonderful in the world. Its history summarizes the complete evolution of the Umayyad style in Spain, as well as the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles of Christian construction.
After the guided walking tour of the city of Cordoba, you will have some free time before dinner.
Dinner and accommodation in Cordoba.
The day will begin by following the Route of the White Villages and Ronda. The city is situated in a mountainous area on a plateau cut by a deep gorge carved by the Guadalevín River about 750 m above mean sea level. The picturesque panorama of the city and the variety of its monuments has made Ronda a remarkable tourist centre.
You will have some free time in Ronda to enjoy the city on your own, after which you will depart for Costa del Sol.
Dinner and accommodation in Torremolinos.
In the morning, you will travel to Granada where you will visit the spectacular group of monuments of Alhambra and Generalife, former residence of the Moorish kings, with its magnificent fountains, gardens and arches, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Generalife is located outside the walls of Alhambra and is made up of a set of buildings, patios and gardens, which make it one of the greatest attractions of the city of Granada, and, together with Alhambra, one of the most outstanding architectural ensembles of Muslim civil architecture.
Dinner and accommodation in Granada. Optional visit to the caves of Sacromonte and attendance of a typical show of gipsy flamenco.
The day will begin with the departure via Guadix, Baza and Puerto Lumbreras towards the Mediterranean coast and Valencia.
Accommodation in Valencia and free time. You can walk around the city, go to the beach or try the famous Valencian paella.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will have some free time. At mid-morning you will leave for Catalonia to reach the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona. As the capital of Catalonia and the second most important city in Spain, Barcelona is renowned for its cultural, financial, commercial and tourist importance. The city has one of the most important ports in the Mediterranean and is also an important point of communication between Spain and France, due to the highway and high-speed rail connections.
