I will be delighted to create amazing experiences for you in Costa Rica and show you what my beautiful country has to offer. Let’s design together the itinerary of your dreams, let’s make this trip the most memorable of your life.
Itinerary
On arrival in San José, Costa Rica you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to the hotel.
The rest of the day is free. The capital is located in the middle of the central valley and the centre of the country, thus becoming a strategic place from which to make endless daily activities. In addition, you will have a varied cultural offer, with theaters, auditoriums, museums, historic buildings and beautiful parks to visit. If you prefer, you can also make purchases in one of the shopping centers and craft markets or go out to dinner in one of the many restaurants in the city, some of them, with stunning views of the great valley.
Accommodation in San José.
Early in the morning you will be transferred to Irazú Volcano. The driver will take the Panamerican Highway South, to start ascending the large “Iztaru”. The winding road travels through fertile lands cultivated with all kinds of vegetables and you will enjoy a lovely panoramic view. At the top of the volcano you can see the main craters and on a clear day both Atlantic and Pacific Oceans can be seen.
Then, you will continue to Orosi Valley where you will visit one of the few remaining colonial churches and have lunch in one of the local restaurants.
After visiting Orosi Valley, you will make a stop at Lankester Gardens, a Centre for investigation of the University of Costa Rica Center that protects more than 800 species of orchids, bromeliads and countless species of other plants.

The day will begin with the transfer to the impressive Arenal Volcano, that is a magnificent natural wonder situated in La Fortuna of San Carlos, Costa Rica, providing many tourists with the opportunity to witness volcanic activity, such as the white plumes of smoke that emanate from the conical shaped behemoth. It is important to note that the volcano had previously been assumed to be dormant, until 1968, when it experienced a major eruption.
To get to this natural wonder you must go to the north of the country, and inevitably you will make a stop in the famous town of Sarchi, which has earned the name of the Birthplace of Costa Rica’s Artisans. As you continue your trip, you will go through diverse plantations with agricultural products, ornamental plants and cattle ranches until you arrive to La Fortuna, where you will lunch in a cozy restaurant right in front of the volcano. This more excellent location will allow you the best view of the volcano.
Later in the afternoon, you will relax in one of the best thermal water places in the area. Many hot springs resorts in Arenal Volcano area and around the world drill to access underground wells and depend on pumps and mechanical systems to fill their pools. Others re-circulate the water and re-heat with gas or other energy means. Tabacon is COMPLETELY natural. Water flows by gravity throughout the property, forming in-river pools, waterfalls, and cascades and filling in the pools throughout the resort. As an eco-friendly and carbon neutral resort, Tabacon puts a big emphasis on turning the guest experience into a close encounter with the nature. These characteristics make Tabacon Hot Springs the first to open to the public and the best known luxury hot springs resort in Costa Rica.

The cacao tree was very important to the ancient culture, it was not only used as a ceremonial drink, but its seeds were also used as currency, including Costa Rica. You will participate in all the production process of the fruit, including harvesting, drying, grinding, and of course enjoying a high quality organic farm chocolate.
Afterwards, you will have a walk through Rio Fortuna Waterfall Reserve. With more than 4000 ml of rainfall per year, it will give you the opportunity to enjoy a descending walk until you reach the base of the 70 meter high more waterfall, through the tropical rain forest. At the base of this beautiful waterfall, a natural pool forms where you can swim while the birds are singing. Accommodation in Arenal Volcano area.
Your tour will start riding an open-air gondola, the Sky Tram, from the ground to the heights where you will be dropped off at an observation area for fantastic views. From this area, you will start riding down on the Sky Trek stretching across canyons and in between treetops, the exhilarating adventure of sliding down on a zip line down the mountainside.
The route includes 8 transverse cables with sizes ranging from 30 up to 760 meters long, with heights of 20 up to 200 meters with cables that go over the treetops offering a panoramic view of Arenal Volcano and lake. The minimum height for Sky Trek is 1.20 meters high and children under 12 years must be accompanied by one of their parents or a responsible person. If the guide considers it pertinent, he should accompany the child during the tour of the zip lines.
At the end of this exciting tour, you will continue with the Sky Walk, a more beautiful walk through a series of suspension bridges that offer a more relaxing introduction to the flora and fauna of the forest canopy. This hike will allows you a view of the forest from a different perspective that starts from the ground and finishes at the level of the treetops, a barely discovered habitat called "canopy".
After a day full of adventure, you can have a rest at the hotel.

In the morning you will be transferred to Mansita Beach.
Mansita Beach is a small beach with white sand and great attractions. It’s the beach where the JW Marriott Guanacaste is located and has some nice snorkeling pools. It has a landscape similar to that of Avellanas, but smaller and without the waves that characterize its neighbor. This is definitely a little jewel, still relatively undiscovered, except for the Marriott guests as you!
