Itinerary


Upon your arrival in Bangkok, your driver will be waiting for you at Bangkok International Airport (Suvarnabhumi) to transfer you to the hotel. At the hotel, you will be given a brief introduction of your trip and any last minute doubts will be clarified.

Accommodation in Bangkok.

You will start the day with a guided tour of Bangkok city by using the local transports (SkyTrain, Chao Praya Express, Tuk-tuks). During the excursion you will discover the Grand Palace (former residence of the kings and home of the Emerald Buddha), Wat Pho (the temple of the largest Reclining Buddha in Thailand at 46 metres in length and 15 metres in height), Wat Suthat (a peaceful heaven inside the chaotic Bangkok), Wat Saket (a Buddhist temple dating back to the Ayutthaya era) and Phu Khao Thong (“Golden Mountain”, which is a steep artificial hill inside the Wat Saket compound from where you can see the old town).

In the morning, you will be transferred to Ayutthaya, the former capital of the Siam Empire, where you will discover the archaeological ensemble of temples such as Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, Wat Mahathat and Wat Chai Wattanaram of the Ayutthaya Historical Park, which was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. You will taste the Candy Floss Roti, one of the best-known delights of the place, a crepe with cotton candy.

After lunch, you will be transferred to the train station to take the night train to the next destination, Chiang Mai, a city also known as the “Rose of the North” (second-class night train, 4-berth cabin).

Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, you will be picked up at the train station and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the morning is free and you can start exploring the city.

At 3:00 p.m., you will enjoy a trip in Songthaew (a passenger vehicle in Thailand adapted from a pick-up or a larger truck) to the Doi Suthep Temple, located in the mountains, from where you will be able to enjoy magnificent views of Chiang Mai city. The temple is 15 kilometres from Chiang Mai city and situated at an elevation of 1,073 metres.

Upon returning, you will have a small meeting to receive instructions and advice for the next day’s trekking. You are asked to have your passport ready.

After breakfast at the hotel, at 8:00 a.m. you will be picked up to start a new adventure. First, you will visit a local market. You will continue by road to the north, making a stop at Mok Fah Waterfall, where you can take a dip. Mok Fah Waterfall is one of the most beautiful attractions in Doi Suthep - Pui National Park. It is a single level waterfall, which is over 60 metres high and is a great place to swim and cool off. The crystal clear water at its base is ideal for a refreshing swim on a hot day.

In the afternoon, you will arrive at Karen village where you will have lunch with the villagers. After lunch, you will start trekking through the jungle to Baan Pa Kao Lam village. Afterwards, you will enjoy a bath with elephants.

You will end the day with dinner and entertainment around a bonfire.

In the morning, you will enjoy a morning trekking and rafting on the traditional bamboo raft through the Taeng River to Shan village, where you will meet the Lahu tribe.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy lunch and return to the hotel in Chiang Mai.

Today you will go to the lush tropical jungle of northern Thailand where you will enjoy new adventures. You will fly through the trees, throw yourself in zip lines, cross air bridges and enjoy rappelling.

In the afternoon, after lunch, you will enjoy trekking to Mae Kampong Waterfall, an attractive waterfall surrounded by mountains. It is one of the most important tourist attractions in Mae Kampong and has 7 levels with nature trails. The peak is about 1,700 meters above sea level and offers panoramic views of Chiang Mai, Lamphun and Lampang.

Today you will be transferred to Chiang Mai airport to catch the flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and taken by road (approx. 5 hours) to Trat port, to catch the ferry to your next destination, Koh Chang Island.

This day of your Thailand Adventure Tour Package will start with a visit to Koh Chang National Marine Park. Koh Chang Island occupies most of the district’s land area, along with several smaller islands. With an area of 210 square kilometres, Koh Chang is the third largest island in Thailand by area, after Phuket and Ko Samui. The name Koh Chang means “Elephant Island” and derives from its elephant-shaped promontory. You will visit Bang Bao fishing village, from where you will take the boat to the Koh Rang area and visit the coral islands of Koh Yak, Koh Nok and Koh Thong, ideal for snorkelling.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a delicious barbecue during lunch and have some free time to relax.

Finally, you will visit Koh Wai Island and return to the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, at the appointed time, you will be transferred to the port to catch the speedboat that will take you to the next destination, the neighbouring island of Koh Kood. The island is located 40 km from the mainland of Thailand, just north of the maritime border with Cambodia. It is the second largest island in the Koh Chang archipelago and the fourth largest in Thailand. The island of Koh Kood is one of the most beautiful in Thailand and without a doubt, the least developed large island in the country.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will have a free day on Koh Kood Island. You will enjoy the pristine white sand beaches of Koh Kood that line the west and the south of the island. The centre of the island is a mix of impenetrable jungle and rubber plantations. There are also some waterfalls, the most famous of which is the Klong Chao Waterfall in the centre of the west coast. On the island, there is also a small community with some shops and small restaurants in the surroundings.

On this day, you will go by sea to the mainland and will be transferred to the Thai capital, Bangkok.

The rest of the day will be free to do last minute shopping and say goodbye to the country.
