Itinerary


In the morning, you will travel from Malaga to Tarifa in order to board the ferry crossing the Strait of Gibraltar towards Tangier. The Strait of Gibraltar connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea and separates two continents: Europe and Africa.

After arriving in Tangier, Morocco you will enjoy a guided tour to discover the surroundings of Tangier, and visit the Caves of Hercules, an archaeological cave complex located in Cape Spartel, about 14 km west of Tangier.

In the afternoon you will have some free time for lunch.

After lunch, this 3-day Morocco Tour from Malaga, Spain offers you the option to enjoy an extra excursion to know all the Andalusian remains of the north of Morocco.

Dinner and accommodation in Tangier.

The day will begin with the visit of the city of Tetuan, known for its overall white appearance and for its affinity with Spanish culture. After the Spanish Reconquest, Tetuan served as the main contact between Morocco and Andalusia, highly appreciated for its practically intact architecture. You will visit places of interest such as the Moulay El Mehdi square and the Hassan II square, where the Royal Palace is located. You will continue the trip through the Luneta and the Jewish quarter and you will finish through its medina, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO until the entrance of Bab Okla.

You will continue your trip Chaouen or Chefchaouen, one of the most beautiful towns in Morocco, famous for its blue washed walls. Upon arrival, you will walk through its blue streets, its corners and history until you reach the Outta El Hammam square, the main square of the ancient neighborhood of Medina more comprising the symbolic Grand Mosque and the 15th-century Kasbah. This town was founded in 1471 to restrain the entrance and influences of the Portuguese of Ceuta, until Moors and Jews settled after the Spanish Reconquest in medieval times. It was during the Spanish protectorate when the Spanish army definitely occupied the city until the north of Morocco became independent around 1958.

Dinner and accommodation in Tangier.

At the appointed time, you will board the ferry and cross the Strait of Gibraltar back to Spain.

Transfer to the Costa del Sol (Malaga) and end of services.
