Summary
During the 10-day Spain bus and fly tour (Barcelona to Palma de Mallorca flight), you will discover a large part of peninsular Spain visiting cities such as Cordoba, Seville, Granada, Valencia, Barcelona, but also of its insular territory and specifically the island of Mallorca with its capital Palma de Mallorca. This Madrid -Barcelona - Mallorca Itinerary will offer you unforgettable experiences, full of discoveries of incredible places and sites declared World Heritage by UNESCO: Cathedral of Seville, Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, Alhambra and Generalife architectural ensemble. Mallorca is the largest island of the Balearic archipelago, which, together with Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera, form the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands, the easternmost of Spain. If you are a solo traveller willing to join a group, this tour also suits you and you can be accommodated in a single room (Single Room Supplement: 640 €). Itinerary
In the morning, you will depart from Madrid at 8:00 a.m. through La Mancha to Cordoba. On arrival in the city, you will enjoy a guided tour starting at Almodovar Gate through the Jewish Quarter and continue visiting the famous Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It is the most important monument of all the Islamic West and one of the most wonderful in the world. Its history summarizes the complete evolution of the Umayyad style in Spain, as well as the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles of Christian construction.
After the guided walking tour of the city of Cordoba, you will have free time to enjoy lunch on your own.
After lunch, you will travel to Seville.
Dinner and accommodation in Seville.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will enjoy a morning guided city tour visiting the typical Barrio de Santa Cruz with its narrow streets, the Park of Maria Luisa and Plaza de España (Spanish Square). You will see Seville Cathedral known as Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See, and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After the city tour, you will have a free afternoon.
In the evening, you will enjoy dinner at the hotel in Seville.
In the morning, you will travel to Granada where you will visit the spectacular group of monuments of Alhambra and Generalife, former residence of the Moorish kings, with its magnificent fountains, gardens and arches, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Generalife is located outside the walls of Alhambra and is made up of a set of buildings, patios and gardens, which make it one of the greatest attractions of the city of Granada, and, together with Alhambra, one of the most outstanding architectural ensembles of Muslim civil architecture.

The day will begin with the departure via Guadix, Baza and Puerto Lumbreras towards the Mediterranean coast and Valencia.
Accommodation in Valencia and free time. You can walk around the city, go to the beach or try the famous Valencian paella.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will have some free time. At mid-morning you will leave for Catalonia to reach the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona. As the capital of Catalonia and the second most important city in Spain, Barcelona is renowned for its cultural, financial, commercial and tourist importance. The city has one of the most important ports in the Mediterranean and is also an important point of communication between Spain and France, due to the highway and high speed rail connections.
Accommodation in Barcelona and free time.
The day will start with a guided tour of Barcelona city to see Montjuïc Park with spectacular views, the Olympic Ring, Christopher Columbus monument and the old Gothic quarter. The mountain of Montjuïc is an excellent lookout point to contemplate the city and is full of tourist attractions. Barcelona is known for the architecture of Antonio Gaudi, the greatest representative of Spanish modernist architecture. Antonio Gaudi designed striking buildings and endowed them with innovative solutions based on the forms of nature. He made great works and projects in Barcelona such as the Sagrada Familia known as Expiatory Church of the Holy Family and Park Güell in Barcelona, which are his best-known masterpieces worldwide, but he is also the creator of amazing buildings such as La Pedrera, Casa Batlló, Casa Vicens, Casa Calvet, or the lampposts of the Plaza Real.
You will have the afternoon free more and you can walk around the city on your own.
After breakfast, at the indicated time, you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Palma de Mallorca. The flying distance between Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca is 638 km (397 miles) and it takes about 47 minutes to fly from Barcelona to Palma de Mallorca.
Mallorca island is known for its heavenly beaches with crystal-clear waters, enchanting towns, fabulous natural landscapes and delicious food (especially seafood, vegetables, and pastries like “ensaimada”, the queen of traditional Mallorcan pastries).
Upon arrival in the city, you will be transferred to your hotel in Palma de Mallorca.
Free day to enjoy the island of Mallorca, its beaches and environment, or choosing optional excursions to Manacor, Porto Cristo, Caves of Drach, etc.

The native language, as on the rest of the Balearic Islands, is Catalan, which is co-official with Spanish. Like the other Balearic Islands, Mallorca is an extremely popular holiday destination.
Palma de Mallorca isn’t the cheapest destination, but this itinerary was especially created so that you could fully enjoy it without having to spend too much at the destination. The two free days in Palma de Mallorca included in the itinerary are enough to experience the atmosphere of the capital and spend some time at the beach. You will stay at a more gorgeous hotel near the port of Palma de Mallorca from where you can opt to embark the fastest ferry to Ibiza that takes about 2 hours.
